The general formula MO-6Fe2O3 describes the chemical composition
of ferrite(ceramic) permanent magnets,where M generally
represents barium or strontium or any combination of the
two.
They are generally formed by a compression or extrusion
molding technique which is then followed by sintered. The
material to be molded can be in eiher a dry powder or
wet slurry form.Ferrite has highter coercive force and
highter resistance to be demagnetized and oxidized than
other non-rare earth permanent magnets.
The biggest advantage of Ferrite magnets. It is widely
used speaker magnets,DC brushless motors, magnetic Resonance
Imaging (MRI),magnetic assemblies designed for lifting,
holding, retrieving and separating, from motors and craft
